Bankruptcy papers...

arrived in the afternoon mail from GM's appointee; 3 envelopes full. After reading, thinking and re-reading, I think it's probably safe to say I'll never see that $4500 for the tax penalty they slayed me with!

So on a very low note, I sat down here to escape for a bit before I go back out to paint and clicked a link that made the sun come out despite everything!

Thank you Ange and Jack!

You're very welcome.

Send some of that gray this way. My garden needs a good soaking.
And hey...I'll race you for the first great blue heron shot. You've still got your camera, right? It's on my list for the summer.

Sweetie, I'm so sorry. I wish I knew what else to say.

I've found that painting can be good therapy. Some days, nothing will help but a can of Krylon and something that'll stay still long enough for me to change it. It's always nice, when you feel helpless, to see a visible sign that you can still effect change.

*hugs*

Hang in there! Very cute pics at that link. I'd make that my wallpaper for gray days.

All this bad news for what should be your good years... retiring and enjoying... I keep thinking the good news for Alan is 'just around the corner'... Im going to hold that thought for you!

Oh and I saw the first commenter on this post spoke of Blue Herons. I live near Stanley Park in Vancouver and they have a protected area just outside the park where the Blue Herons come back each year to lay their eggs. They are amazing creatures. They are so high up in the trees it would be hard to get a good shot though. I will keep trying though!

Alan -

I will be thinking nothing but positive thoughts my friend. No better link to click than that young lady, either! Always a winner!

Three envelopes worth? I'd rather stick pins in my eyes while chewing on tinfoil.
Ugh, talk about ups and downs through all of this. The fingers are still crossed for you though.
I can see why the sun came out-great picture!
