1-2=5!

Just climbed out of the shower after spending 3 hours shoveling the inch to two of snow that is a lot more like 5 or 6, then spending another half hour cleaning off my truck and digging out my sandtubes and their safety box and loading them in it...

Now I know why I've been spending what time I can downstairs!

Hope everyone else is warm and dry!

May the rest of your week be kind...

:-)

I'm over it.

I'm not going to shovel today.

I give up, Alan.

Winter is the victor, and Zilla's gonna take a very long nap.

Maybe I should have spent some time in your dungeon?

Sounds like good excercise at least!! ;-)

Urgh.. I am glad we're not there yet, but it's forecast.
Robert was up a ladder cleaning leaves out of the gutter on Sunday in the dark, rain, wind, you guys rock. What would us girls do without you?? I hope I never get to find out.

From the wife of another great husband, THANK YOU. Snow shoveling, gutter cleaning, oil changing, all much appreciated!

My tonneau cover collapsed on my pickup, this will be the first time snow has ever touched the bed. As soon as I possibly can I will have it re-stretched so it can handle this up coming snow season. I don't like my baby getting yukky, makes a woman looked bad if her truck is not taken care of, and thankfully daddy lives next door to plow the walk sometimes :)

Talk to you soon, need some cocoa.

Hell there my friend!
We've got about 4 inches of snow and we're expecting a storm tonight that will bring another 6 inches.

That's not really a lot of snow. Well, I suppose it is for folks here in the banana belt. The problem here out by the lake is the drifting. That 6 inches once drifted can blow over the lane and drift 3 feet high.

Since I live on a dirt road that the township doesn't maintain, that means I'll be snowed in.

I'm going shopping tonight, just in case.

Jeepers, Alan, 3 hours?! How long is the driveway?! ;-)

About 150 feet long and a bit wider than my truck, plus the front sidewalk, the patio and the sidewalk that runs to the garage and alongside it...being on a terraced hill it also drifts and you have to throw it clear...

Now it's freezing rain coming down and I just sanded so Dottie could get in the driveway and into the house from her car.

"Lovely weather we're haviing..."

Sounds like a weather forecasters inch - anything between 0 and infinity...

Glad your time in your gym paid off, anyway!

I hope the shoveling can be kept to a minimum this week.

Belated congratulations on your 32nd anniversary...and may Christmas week be kind! :-)
