I started my liquid diet this morning and shortly have to begin the rest of the prep for my colonoscopy tomorrow. I'm not counting on feeling too good until sometime late Saturday or Sunday (one reason I avoided doing this while I was working). So, hoping you'll all forgive me, I probably won't pop up again 'til sometime Monday as Dottie worked last Sunday so she could have tomorrow off (you can't drive yourself home after) and has the weekend off.
So, I shall hope that Friday and the weeekend are wonderful for each of you!

Good luck! :-)
Good luck with your rendezvous with the inner you.
ack! that doesn't sound fun at all! good luck!
Hope all goes well and you're back to "normal" sooner than you think!
Wow..sounds like soooo much fun..(note the sarcasm?) lol
All will be fine! I know it! Take care! :-)
Alan, you'll be surprised at how quickly you feel better. Trust me on this. MrZ was a complete basket case during the whole Go-Litely experience and delivering him to the procedure wasn't exactly a picnic because he was crabby with hunger, but once he was out of the ... art-fay ard-way (hospital's terminology, not mine), and on his way home, it was smooth sailing from there. Have some soup on hand and follow instructions for easing back to a regular diet, and you'll be fine.
I'm glad Dottie has the weekend off. You won't need much tending to after Friday's anesthesia wears off, but you'll have someone to snuggle with in front of a few good movies over a couple of days, and there ain't nothin' bad about that.
On the lighter side, I kind of wish Dottie was a blogger. My wicked side wants to know what silly things you say when you're coming out of anesthesia :-)
If you're shy at all about passing gas, get over it immediately. They'll release you just as soon as you toot. MrZ was shy (even with the veil of anesthesia not quite lifted!) about tooting. The sooner you toot, the sooner you go home.
Let 'er rip, I say! We'll all toot along with you in solidarity!!!
XO and best wishes for happy results.
Toot-toot!!
You and Hubba on the same schedule.
He had his on Wednesday..
He is good for at least 5 years now.
Hope everything was normal.
He has other old guy problems that hopefully will be taken care of on September 10th.
Makes the colonoscopy seem like
a romp in the rain..
:D
Good luck also.
good luck hon...thinking of you.
I have these all the time. I am tempted to draw a smiley face on my bun cheeks. :)
Hope yours went ok. I will read on.
