Great video and just a tiny glimpse into his life. He did a lot of good.

And in all seriousness, his salad dressings are really REALLY yummy! I buy them all the time.

It is a rare person who uses their success to make the world a better place instead of hiring more lackys to help grab a larger chunk of the world for themselves. I personally had no idea that he had done all of those good things, and am significantly humbled by the massive amount or respect he deserves. It is always sad to see an iconic figure leave this world for the next, even more so when they have shown such an outstanding personal life that outshadows even their massive entertainment career. He will be missed but did leave the world in a better state for the time he shared with us all.

Genuine good. Just uncomplicated, straightforward goodness. A truly truly impressive man.

Thanks for sharing that. I didn't realise the extent of his work to help other people.

What a special man he was.
I miss his voice during this election..

However, eighty-three is a damned good run, especially when you do as much as he did in that span of time.
My mama's heart throb.

His daughter Nell lives in the town I once did, just a bit south of Santa Cruz.

Reminds us all what it truly means to be a good man who does good works. Thanks for posting that, alan.

A beautifully rendered tribute. I appreciate you sharing that with us. Canadian Thanksgiving is next week; I'll be raising a glass to Mr. Newman.
