Um, I feel horrible about this but this one has gone straight over my head. I'm sorry but I would appreciate some explaination so I can understand. It seems very significant and I feel bad for not getting the point. Sorry.

Sorry - I've only just watched the video clip on that link and it is really distressing and shows RFK just before assassination and the immediate aftermath. I don't really know of the man or of his policies or what he meant but I can't help be moved by such a distressing event.
Very turbulent times, 1968. The country was a mess. The Vietnam war was raging and very unpopular. An election year, Bobby Kennedy was the Democratic front runner. The one candidate who, I believed, could actually make a difference. Sure to be the next president. Then, like his brother, shot in the head. The dream died with him.
How sad his life isn't remembered by all.
I too often wonder what might have been. And I wasn't even born then. He was a very cool guy.

he will take up where Bobby Kennedy left off. how incredibly sad that people already don't know who he was. don't they teach history or civics or government in schools anymore? no child left behind? yeah, right.
It breaks my heart to even see the photograph. He had so much promise and gave us so much hope. The day Bobby Kennedy was assassinated was the day I learned to work for what I believe in, but to anticipate the shattering of dreams. Perhaps that makes me a bit jaded, but I know the country I live in.
I remember it well. He seemed such a nice man. His children were in the hotel too when it happened. Their nanny was French and she'd let one of the boys go and watch his father on TV in another room. when they got the news they realised he'd seen it all...
Bobby was my first real campaign,I watched his speech, went to bed so happy and then woke up the next morning to despair.
This past week end I was at the Democratic Convention In Rochester Mn.
Send money to Obama or even better sign up to work on his campaign
We have to change the course in this country.
